Capturing A Moment: More Film

Yay film!! You can check out my first film post here
I recently sent three rolls of film to The Darkroom Lab, and either I'm easily impressed, or they just do a really great job every time with each roll of film I send. Instead of sending just one roll of film, I sent THREE! It was more expensive (of course), but definitely worth it. It just made more excited to receive even more of my pictures!

It was interesting this time, because one of the rolls of film was actually in the camera when I got it from St. Vincent, and so I was intrigued to see what type of pictures would be developed. There was only about four that had been taken, the rest were duds. Below are some pictures that were taken by the previous owner of my thrifted camera.

If any of these places look familiar at all, I am curious to know whose camera it was (or where these were taken!).

I titled this blog post "Capturing a Moment," because I'm trying to use each 24 picture roll of film as a way to capture 24 different moments. These are moments you definitely don't have every day. Whether the moment means something to you, or to someone else, it's cool to look back and possibly feel the vibes of the picture. Below are some of the developed photos.

This is in Milford, Ohio (one of the places that is near to my heart, because it is where I grew up!)

This is my dream car! Yes it's rusty, but think of all the adventures! The room in the back! So cool! You could fit so many friends!

I was testing to see how the camera worked. It was the left over film that was still in the camera when I bought it. My beautiful sister Brooke. :)

A film selfie!

My first MaryKay party at Kenzie's house! Our MK girl, Jenny is such a blast!!

This was at Sarah's beautiful bridal shower! It was honestly the most beautiful bridal party I had ever seen! Sarah and her grandma--I love it!

One day, after work, I asked what Michael was up to and he said, "Josh and I are golfing, you can join if you want!" I didn't end up golfing, but I had to snap this picture of Josh and Michael with their old man cigars...

These two pictures were from Samuel's birthday party! It was absolutely so much fun! Michael and Samuel made some great food!

Just spending a day with Eli, Kai, and Violet -- washing some golf balls and catching worms!

This was a day that Brooke and I's apartment neighbor was giving away a beautiful free set of  wood table and chairs! I didn't pay much attention to the ad, but Michael saw it and said, "We have to get it. Right now."

This was a much needed day with Elena of a lot of talking and coffee. :)

This was Jessi's graduation! I was sitting with Brooke, Jeremiah, and Mammaw, and after a huge storm--the ceremony resumed and Jessi graduated highschool. Yay!!

A day where Anna and I were just chilling over Carabellos, then going antique-ing.

This was the day after Titus was born! Kenzie was such a trooper! Here this is Kenzie and Violet eating the very-mediocre-hospital-food!

One Friday, Anna, Vinny, Michael and I wanted to go to the drive-in, but Anna was house sitting. So we thought...What's the next best thing? And it was eating and watching movies at the house Anna was house sitting at! But before we got there, a huge storm came through and the lights went off. Instead, we just ate, talked, and played cards. Which was still super fun. I am so thankful for them!

A day visiting the family!

Pappaw smoking a cigar out on the front lawn.

Sometimes...Pictures just can't be explained. But this one can. And it's Michael looking hot.

My side of the family and Michael's side of the family got together for an Engagement party! The next 7 pictures were taken from the party, which was so special and my heart was so full!

One o

I love all of these people so dearly! Wow!!

This was the day that Michael proposed (June 30th)!

Samuel was force-helping Michael get ready.

Samuel posing (AKA doing that weird thing with his hands...Lol, sorry Samuel)...

I think this was the day before Michael proposed. Wow, how time flies. Anyway, this is Michael and I's favorite time: sitting at Cracker Barrel with pancakes and delicious food in front of us. You can see clearly just how happy he is!

Megan and I went to Carabello, but they closed early this day so we decided to go to Tower Park in Ft.Thomas. It's such a beautiful park, but we had no idea that the Naked Karate Girls were going to be playing...And this awesome juice truck!!
