Street Style Inspiration
Clothes personally make a huge statement for me, it's the way you can literally wear art. It's the way clothes can be a statement. The outfit as a whole can be aesthetic. It has only been the past year that I've actually cared about what I've worn.
My street style board on Pinterest is sort of like my fashion baby-child.
Dictionary.com says that "Street Style" is, "any offbeat or avant-garde fashion inspired by contemporary culture of urban street people."
I drool over the styles from Paris, Milan, and New York Fashion Weeks--pining at the looks of talentedly-dressed people. I follow a lot of off-duty-model-style on Instagram too--Camille Rowe, Candice Swanepoel, Taylor Hill, Ali Michael, Dayna Frazer, and Behati Prinsloo are some ladies that I really admire their sense of style!
----
My tactics for discovering new clothes is to have certain articles of clothing in mind--clothes with certain shapes (turtlenecks, ankle pants, high-waisted bottoms, anything that defines the waist). Or maybe I find something designer brand I like, then commit to hunting it down. I then go to a healthy Goodwill (well-stocked), and spend a good couple hours hunting down the commodities. I'm 5'3", so a lot of times I cut the ends of my jeans like this:

This is a big reason I am passionate about buying my denim from Goodwill. You can find hardy denim, that will last for a long time, and you probably only spent $3-$6 on it. So I don't usually feel bad about making alterations to my jeans.
Redone, ASOS, Urban Outfitters, and other denim companies are trying to sell the "cut-up" look--but you can get the same denim and crop/cut look yourself! DIY baby!
I digress--Below are some pictures (from Pinterest 😊), that I find intriguing and super inspiring--enjoy!

The jacket, the way the cut stops at the wrists💓.

Basically denim is amazing.

My favorite color is this hazy mustard yellow color. It's warm and inviting and goes with so many different pieces!

.

For some reason joggers and cool sneakers have been a reoccurring theme ? I'm not really sure what's going on here, but I really, really, like it.

I am so obsessed with these summer styles! Those simple shapes and floral patterns are really getting to me...
I can't explain how much I love these inspirational pictures!
